On 28-29 June 2012, HOSN general manager Xu Jianfeng was invited to attend the 2012 Entrepreneurs Private Board of Directors Annual Meeting held in Wuxi, and he also participated in Zhenghe Island Enterpreneurs Club activities.
Organized by CLEC and Vistage and co-hosted by Wuxi Chamber of Commerce, CEIBS Alumni Association Wuxi and Zhenghe Island, the Entrepreneurs Private Board of Directors Annual Meeting was held in Wuxi Juna Hubin Hotel. The meeting was attended by Secretary of Binhu District Committee of the CPC Zhu Weiping, President of Wuxi Chamber of Commerce - Red Bean Group president Zhou Haijiang, President of the Board of Directors of Far East Group Jiang Xipei, founder of Zhenghe Island Liu Donghua, Chairman of Jiangsu Tiandilong Group Jiang Jiaping, Chairman of Five Star Holding Wang Jianguo, former President of Hewlett-Packard China Sun Zhenyao, former President of Cisco China Lin Zhenggang, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Professor Xiao Zhixing as well as nearly 200 private entrepreneurs from different parts of China. The meeting focused on such themes as ‘Adaptation and Persistence: Evolutionary corporate choices’, ‘Zhenghe Island Night Talk: evolution of the times, what kind of entrepreneurial spirit China needs’.
During the meeting, general manager Xu Jianfeng and President Jiang Xipei conducted a cordial conversation to explore the future development of the wire & cable industry in China. Xu introduced to President Jiang recent development of HOSN (formerly HOLD Electrical Machinery). President Jiang said that, Far East Group is a leading player in the cable industry while HOSN, a leading player in the cable equipment industry. He hoped that both sides should further consolidate cooperation relationship and develop themselves to make a greater contribution to China’s cable industry. Xu also conducted an in-depth exchange with Chairman of Jiangsu Tiandilong Group Jiang and both expressed the intent to strengthen cooperation.
In the ‘Zhenghe Island Night Talk’ session, Mr. Liu Donghua invited Xu to join Zhenghe Island Club as a new member. Xu acknowledged giving full support to Zhenghe Island. Xu also discussed with Mr. Zhou Haijiang and Mr. Sun Zhenyao over topics related with business management.
